How can I troubleshoot connecting my Amazon Fire TV?

Experiencing a Blank Screen?

1. Double check that your TV's Input Source is set to the HDMI port that your Amazon Fire is connected to.
2. Try unplugging and reconnecting the HDMI cable connecting your Amazon Fire TV device to your TV.
3. Temporarily disconnect other devices connected to your TV's HDMI ports to see if that resolves the problem.
General Troubleshooting

1. Restart the device in one of three ways:
- Open Settings > System > Restart from the main menu
- On the remote, press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons at the same time for five seconds
- Disconnect the power cord and plug it back in
2. Confirm the wireless MAC address on the account and that the device is pulling a valid IP

3. Confirm the connectivity of other devices on the account. Are other devices running slow or unable to connect or is this problem isolated to your Amazon Fire device?
4. Make sure the device is out in the open, not in a cabinet or concealed somewhere else that may affect the Wi-Fi signal.
